This weekend is the start of our annual school supply drive! Help us equip homeless and low-income students with the supplies they need for a successful school year. This year, we have two options for participating in the drive.
Option 1:
Bring new supplies including crayons, #2 pencils, markers, highlighters, binders, glue sticks, rulers, pocket folders, scissors, notebooks, backpacks, loose leaf paper, and colored pencils and place them in the School Supply Collection Bin located in the Gathering Area. These supplies will be taken to the Action Center (serving Jefferson County) and the Christian Action Guild (serving Golden). This drive will run through the weekend of July 20th/21st.
Option 2:
We’re joining 8 other parishes in supporting Catholic Charities “Adopt-a-Student” supply drive to equip 500 students in the Denver area with supplies. Parishioners will adopt a student and provide all the supplies needed. To participate, take a bookmark from the board in the Gathering Area (and fill out the card behind it). The backpacks with supplies will need to be returned by the weekend of July 13th/14th.
