Over this past weekend 14 families from St. Joseph, led by our pastor, Fr. Matt, and our Director of Evangelization, Andrew McGown, went up to YMCA Snow Mountain Ranch for St. Joseph’s Annual Family Retreat. The families spent the weekend reflecting on the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary.
The retreat included sessions for the whole family, sessions for just the adults, and sessions created just for the kids.
Camp fires, card games, impromptu children’s plays, and lots of laughs filled the weekend. The families on retreat had a really wonderful weekend together building friendships and experiencing the Holy Spirit.
It culminated in a night of adoration and praise and worship with the Blessed Sacrament.
Our Family Group is a totally open/inclusive group for all families at St. Joseph. We would love for you to join us at our monthly get togethers, on the first Sunday of the month following the 9:15 am Mass in the Education Center (we usually start out by the playground), and on next year’s retreat!
