Family Gatherings

Family Gatherings happen on the first Sundays of the month following the 9:15 am Mass. This is a fun and friendly event for families who want to meet other families and share their faith with each other and their kids. Each family brings a baked good to share in the Education Center. Families spend some time in fellowship before having a short Bible Study or teaching and time for discussion while the kids play.

Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast

The Knights of Columbus host a Pancake Breakfast on the third Sunday of the month (excluding December and Lent) in the Community Center after the Sunday Masses. Cost is usually $5/person and includes all you can eat pancakes, eggs, and sausage.

Annual Parish Picnic

We usually host our Parish Picnic in August or September. It's a fun evening for parishioners to connect and enjoy food and games. We start with Mass and then head out to the field to the east of the main parking lot. The Knights of Columbus man the grills, while parishioners bring salads and desserts. We have games and a jumpy castle for the kids, a cake walk, dessert contest as well as music and dancing.

Helping Hands Hustle

Every September/October, St. Joseph hosts the Helping Hands Hustle 5k to raise money for the Christian Action Guild, Golden Backpack Program, and Golden Rescue Fund. This is a great way for families to come together to help others. Dogs and strollers are welcome. We also have a sleep-in category for people who can't make it to the race.

Christmas Breakfast

Each December, we have a special Christmas Breakfast in the Community Center with gingerbread pancakes, peppermint hot chocolate, and other treats. We are visited by Santa, who is available for pictures.
